This week-long (minimum) program offers:

• Two professional circus artist/instructors for five (or more) full school days

• A spectacular circus arts assembly performance attended by your entire student population

• Basic workshop sessions in age-appropriate skills

            • Ball-juggling

           • Scarf-juggling

            • Plate-spinning

           • Devil stick manipulations

            • Balancing

           • Diabolo-spinning

• Additional advanced circus workshops with a target grade or smaller group of classes

           • Acrobatics

            • Stilt-walking

           • Rola-Bola (Balance board)

            • Clowning

           • Rolling Globe

            • Rope-Spinning

           • Pole Balancing

• Artists guide students through developing their own ideas for acts, choosing show music, choreographing their skills into organized solo and group routines

• Circus act rehearsals

• Final student circus performance

An optional evening student circus performance may be included in place of or in addition to the afternoon performance.  Many schools use this performance as a fundraiser to offset the cost of the program.
